Humble Skin Health (HSH)
I run a purpose-designed home studio in Tarragindi. To keep the studio calm, punctual, and fair to every client, the policies below apply to all bookings.
How to book
Bookings are made online via our website. If you’re unsure what to book, you’re welcome to call or text and I’ll guide you to the best starting point.
New client booking pathways
If you’re new to Humble Skin Health, please book one of the following as your entry point:
- Signature Skin Journey (consultation questions are included at the start of your appointment)
- Skin Consultation (required for new clients booking corrective/clinical/advanced treatments)
If you’re booking corrective/clinical/advanced treatments for the first time, a Skin Consultation is required before your first treatment so I can assess your skin properly and prescribe the safest, most effective plan.
Consultation boundaries
For treatment suitability and personalised product/treatment advice, I support you through structured appointments. I don’t provide back-and-forth skin consultations by email.
Deposits (required to secure your appointment)
A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings. Your appointment time is secured once the deposit is received.
Rescheduling policy
- If you reschedule with 48+ hours’ notice, your deposit will roll over to your new appointment.
- If you reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit does not roll over (it will be forfeited).
Cancellation policy
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 50% fee, and your deposit will be forfeited.
Gift vouchers used for deposits
If you use a gift voucher to secure a booking, the same cancellation and rescheduling rules apply. This means voucher value used as a deposit may be forfeited if you cancel late or reschedule outside the allowed notice period.
Arriving for your appointment
Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened so the next client isn’t impacted, and the full booking fee still applies.
Add-ons and booking rules
- Therapeutic add-ons are not standalone services and must be booked with a Signature Skin Journey.
- Some services have booking conditions (for example, makeup is available on request and requires 1 week notice).
- Men’s waxing is available to existing clients only.
Paying online (“Make Payment”)
The Make Payment option can be used for:
- paying deposits
- booking treatments in advance
- purchasing products remotely
Treatment suitability and health screening at booking
To keep treatments safe and results-focused, you must disclose relevant health information when booking, including: medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, medications (including photosensitising medications), and any current infections or symptoms.
Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, or if you have cold/flu symptoms or a contagious infection (including cold sores). Contact me to reschedule within the notice period above.
Some modalities are not suitable for everyone. Examples include (but are not limited to):
- LED / RF / Microcurrent / Mesotherapy may not be suitable if you have a pacemaker, epilepsy, are on photosensitising medications, are undergoing cancer treatment, are pregnant, or have viral/fungal infections.
- Microneedling / Clinical Peels are not performed during pregnancy (and are also noted as avoided during breastfeeding), while taking Roaccutane, with active infections, severe eczema, open wounds, or certain severe acne presentations.
Clinical scope and results
Treatments are prescribed based on your skin on the day and may be adjusted in real time for safety and best outcomes. Results vary from person to person and are influenced by consistency, skin history, and home care.
Humble Skin Health provides cosmetic/clinical skin therapy services and does not diagnose or treat medical or dermatological conditions (including skin cancer). If you have medical concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional.
