Lash Tinting

Lash Tinting

Lash Tinting is a simple, low-maintenance way to deepen and define your natural lashes with a custom tint, so your eyes look brighter without daily mascara.

At Humble Skin Health in Tarragindi, Brisbane South, I tailor the shade for fair, mature, or sparse lashes and for sensitive eyes. Ideal for busy professionals, gym-goers, swimmers, and anyone wanting neat, polished lashes for weeks with smudge-free colour.

Precise Shade, Safe Care

Why Choose Us For Lash Tinting

Lash tinting looks effortless when the detail is done properly. I take time to match a flattering shade to your natural colouring, then apply and remove tint with controlled timing so results look even, clean, and never “overdone.” I use professional Ellebana tint and protect the delicate eye area to minimise staining and irritation.

You’re treated by the same experienced therapist every visit. With 15+ years in advanced beauty therapy, I work methodically—checking comfort throughout, adapting for watery or reactive eyes, and recommending a patch test when it’s the smartest choice. You’ll also leave with clear aftercare guidance to help your eyelash tint wear well and fade evenly.

Humble Skin Health is a purpose-designed home studio in Tarragindi with a calm, considered feel—ideal if you prefer a quieter alternative to busy shopping-centre salons. Clients visit from Greenslopes, Holland Park, Annerley, Coorparoo, Salisbury, and across Brisbane South for consistent results, professional standards, and a straightforward booking process.

Your Lash Tint Questions

How long does lash tinting last?

Most clients see their lash tinting result for around 3–6 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle, skincare, and how often you swim or use oil-based cleansers. I’ll tailor timing and aftercare so the colour fades evenly, not patchy.

Is lash tinting safe for sensitive eyes?

If you have sensitive eyes, lash tinting can still be suitable, but comfort and screening matter. I use professional Ellebana tint, protect the skin around the eyes, and check for redness, watering, or irritation before we begin. If you have an active infection or recent eye surgery, I’ll ask you to postpone.

Do I need a patch test?

For first-time clients or anyone with allergies, I recommend a patch test 24–48 hours before lash tinting. It’s a simple way to reduce the risk of an unexpected sensitivity reaction. If you’ve reacted to dyes or cosmetics before, please let me know when booking.

Can I wear contact lenses?

Yes—many clients wear contacts, but for eyelash tinting I’ll ask you to remove them before treatment to keep your eyes comfortable and reduce dryness. Bring your glasses and a lens case. After the tint, you can pop contacts back in once your eyes feel settled.

Will the tint look too dark?

Not if it’s chosen well. During lash tinting, I match the colour to your lashes, hair tone, and the look you prefer—natural definition or a deeper finish. I also watch processing time closely, so you don’t walk out with lashes that feel overly intense.

How should I prepare for tinting?

Arrive with clean lashes and no eye makeup, especially waterproof mascara, so lash tinting colour can take evenly. Avoid lash growth serums for 24 hours if they make you watery, and let me know about any new skincare around the eye area. If you’re prone to irritation, book a patch test first.

What aftercare keeps results longer?

To extend your lash tinting result, keep lashes dry for 24 hours and avoid steam, saunas, and eye makeup removers with oils. Try not to rub your eyes, and cleanse gently around the lash line. I’ll explain what products in your routine could fade tint faster.

What if my eyes water?

Watery eyes can dilute tint and reduce comfort, so I take a slow, controlled approach. For lash tinting, I’ll check your eyes on the day, use protective pads, and time application carefully. If watering becomes excessive or you feel stinging, I’ll remove product immediately and reassess.

Who shouldn’t have lash tinting?

Please avoid lash tinting if you have conjunctivitis, a cold sore close to the eye, a viral or bacterial infection, or broken skin around the eyelids. Disclose allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any eye procedures at booking. If something looks medically concerning, I’ll refer you to a GP or optometrist.

Is lash tinting okay in pregnancy?

If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, tell me before booking lash tinting so I can confirm suitability and keep your session conservative. Some clients prefer to postpone tinting during this time, especially if hormones are making eyes more reactive. If you’re unsure, seek medical advice first.

Can I book lash tinting online?

Yes—use the Book Online button to secure your lash tinting appointment at my Tarragindi studio. A 50% deposit confirms your time, and it’s forfeited for cancellations within 24 hours. Need to reschedule? Your deposit rolls over with 48+ hours’ notice.

How much is lash tinting?

Lash Tinting is $25. If you’re unsure whether tint is right for your colouring or sensitivity, message me first and I’ll help you choose the safest option. Appointments are held with a 50% deposit, so you can book confidently and plan around work, school runs, or events.
